Camp Samac, front gates are located 1711 Simcoe St. North, Oshawa, Ontario
This entrance takes you to the Scouts Canada Retail Shop, a great resource for camping equipment and all sorts of badges, uniforms, etc. (Campers enter at 275 Conlin Rd. East, Oshawa, Ontario.
The gates were build over 50 years ago as a grand entrance to one of Scouts Canada's premiere activity centres, housing 8 rental cabins, 6 individual campsites, Olympic sized outdoor swimming pool, Council Hall for large events, damned creek that forms a great summertime pond for canoeing and kayaking, hiking trails, obstacle courses, etc.
